Restarting My Blogging Journey: A New Beginning

I have a love-hate relationship with blogging. I think I would do really well, and then get distracted, so I don’t start.

I don’t think I have ever really figured out what I will write about. WordPress gives writing cues, to spark creativity, I guess, but I never seem to make the time to just sit down and write. I am here right now because I am waiting for the kitchen floor to dry, so I can wash the dishes.

I have a lot of ideas, and I might implement them over time. I also have another blog that I haven’t started called The Journal of the Information Junkie! I might implement that into this blog, too.

I like the idea of going through my Pinterest boards and finding things that I think are not so straightforward and filling in the blanks.

Just so you don’t think I’m this perfect person, I’m using Grammarly to help me put my words together. They have been my vocabulary assistant in all things typed for a few years. They have expanded beyond that and now can help you write in the best voice you could want.

So I guess I will close this for right now, my kids are waking up and will need me.

Until next time, (hopefully sooner than the last time)

I am restarting this blog.

I come to write then I leave. I come again then life happens and I leave again. I don’t know if this will happen again, but here we go again.

I plan to do things differently this time but only time will tell.

Language

I speak English, I dabble in a few other languages but I am fluent in English.

The English language is the most complicated language of all because of the fact that it borrows from a lot of other languages both living and dead.  We have a section in our dictionary that tells the origin of the word, (other languages may have that in their dictionary as well. But I don’t use them).  Like we are going to meet a 12th century Greek and he becomes offended by the way we use a word he took as forbidden.

That is just like our spiritual life,  we need to check the scriptures to make sure we are living our life the right way.  The only way we will know if we are living right is to dig deep into the Word and have it become a part if our very core being, by doing you can become closer to our Creator, Jehovah.

Next Year Garden.

I was just cruising on Facebook, when a posting from Hometalk  reminded me that seed starting time is just around the corner.  They had a link to a blog that has a lot of good info.  So instead of me rehashing it all over again, here is what they have to say:  http://oldworldgardenfarms.com/2012/12/18/how-to-easily-start-garden-and-flower-seeds-indoors-on-the-cheap/

For many of the warming areas of the world like Zones 10 and 11 have probably already started their seeds to start the early plants.

Do you know what I am talking about?  If not, I encourage you to go to your local extension service, and ask for the master gardener.  You can find your local office here: http://www.csrees.usda.gov/Extension/

If you do, you know what a fun time it can be.  Are you a person that likes to start your own seeds.  I am.  It is a challenge.  The little plants come to be another family to me.  Sadly, this last year was not a good year in my corner of the world.

We had what I have come to call the 18 months of summer.  Temps too warm for winter, no rain, no snow.  Like a lot of the country and the world it turns out. .  Not enough water thanks to the drought we encountered.  Those poor plants did not have a chance.   I am praying that this year it is better.

So what will it be this year, corn, beans, peas, lettuce or something else.  Well enjoy the process and by all means talk to those seedlings and they will love you for it.

My Wedding

Image

I want to tell you about my wedding.  It was a suggestion that I write about this event.

I was sick.  I didn’t know what it was but it had it for a while and it looked like it had finally cleared up the day before my wedding.  I remember running around trying to get all the last minute things that we needed.   We arrived on time and discovered that there was no wedding march, while my father in law ran to town to find the music we worked on the wedding.

The next day seemed so long.  But finally the moment came when we were legally joined in marriage.  I decided I would enjoy it. No matter how I felt.

It was beautiful.
